If we do have to close the school for any reason, the closure announcement will be put on the Buckinghamshire Council website http://closures.buckscc.gov.uk/

Local radio stations will also make announcements during their programmes.  We will endeavour to make any closure announcements as early as we possibly can.

In the event of snow, we will try wherever possible to keep the school open.  However if we have reduced staff and it is not possible to run a normal school day, we will have to close the school.  This is also the case for our Breakfast and Afterschool Club and Pre-School.

If it snows during the school day, we will do our utmost to clear and grit the vast majority of paths but we do emphasise great care needs to be taken when walking around the school site.  We please ask that pupils still wear the appropriate school uniform but have suitable footwear for the conditions together with a coat.  We are required to keep accurate registers, even on snow days and any pupil who is not in school on a day when the school is officially open must telephone the school on the day of absence and bring in a letter explaining the absence on their return.
